KATIE GOOD, MD

Hi!  I am Dr. Katie Good- a board-certified pediatrician and mother to seven with a passion for making and keeping children and families healthy.

After growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, I attended Northwestern University both for undergraduate and medical school within the Honors Program for Medical Education.   After graduating from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in 2007, I entered active duty service in the United States Navy and completed my residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego.

In 2010, my Marine Corps husband and I moved to Okinawa, Japan for four years.  I cared for the children of active duty service members at the United States Naval Hospital in Okinawa as a pediatrician, while my husband flew C130 planes throughout the Asian Pacific.  During our time in Okinawa, we had two children, and in 2014 decided it was time to return to our family in the United States.

We landed in Orlando, where my husband grew up, and continued to grow our family.  Now with six children, five boys and an amazing girl, we are blessed to busily explore all Orlando and Central Florida has to offer.

Before opening Club Pediatrics, I was a pediatrician for 9 years at a busy private practice in the Orlando area.   I bring both a mother's perspective and a seasoned pediatrician's view to the care of my patients and families.   I truly love all ages from the newborn time that is so intense and special to the young adults that are forming the next generation.  I am particularly passionate about optimizing lifestyle choices including nutrition, exercise, and children's environments to keep as little "medicine" as possible in their lives.

I consider myself incredibly blessed to have the privilege of being a doctor.  Whether it is succeeding in getting a newborn and mom breastfeeding, or overcoming a developmental challenge like language delay and learning difficulties, or managing chronic illness like asthma or depression, I am thrilled to forge relationships with my patients and families to find the path to health.

When I am not at the office doing the best job in the world, I love running, reading, cooking, parenting, praying, and exploring any avenue that brings health, faith, and happiness to my family and friends.

I hope that if you have found my site, our paths cross soon!

Be well!
